When Jessie Dunstone champion damper maker and Victorian Living Treasure uttered those words to Macca in an interview, Macca had a brainwave.   “Of course”, those words applied not only to Jessie’s damper, but to everything in your life that you’re passionate about.

And Macca’s passionate about music and Australia, he’s combined those loves in his new double album, to be released by ABC Music this Father’s Day.  As well as a couple of ‘Macca tracks’ there’s a reworked and extended version of Macca’s duet with Digger Revell, The Man With The Big Hat and eternal classic ‘Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy’ from Mary Schneider. There are lots of new tracks here from seasoned performers like Mike McClellan, Normie Rowe, Gary Shearston, Doug Ashdown and Neil Murray to name just a few, also Macca favourites like Stephen Pigram, Penny Davies & Roger Ilott, Jane Saunders and Smoky Dawson and The Howie Bros.  Also new performers like Mark Cryle, Ron McIntyre and Carmel Charlton.

If you’re fair dinkum about your Australian Music Collection you’ll want this CD right there alongside the Top 100.

Well I Love It!
