Dean Brody to release 5th studio album 'GYPSY ROAD' in Australia

AWARD-WINNING CANADIAN ARTIST DEAN BRODY RELEASES 5TH STUDIO ALBUM ‘GYPSY ROAD’
IN AUSTRALIA

Digital release 24th April // Physical release 8th May

ALBUM’S FIRST SINGLE ‘UPSIDE DOWN’ – OUT NOW

With his last album earning recognition from both The JUNO Awards and the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Awards for Country Album of the Year in 2014, nine-time CCMA Award winner and three-time JUNO Award nominee DEAN BRODY has announced the release date for his 5th studio album, ‘GYPSY ROAD’. Brody’s upcoming album will be delivered to fans in Australia first via digital partners on April 24th and then all physical retailers on May 8th.

The album’s first single, ‘Upside Down’, is reminiscent of earlier favourites ‘Roll That Barrel Out’ and ‘Old Joe Riley’. Dean knew instantly that ‘Upside Down’ was the best introduction to the new material. “Making a new record is always about pushing boundaries and having fun,” said Brody. “This song is all about having a good time, which is exactly what we did when making this one.”

To challenge himself in new ways, Brody composed three of the album’s ten tracks on instruments he had never played before.

No stranger to our shores, Dean has toured Australia previously and will be return to tour the new album Down Under soon.

Fans are encouraged to stay tuned via Facebook and Twitter for album and tour announcements.
