Paul Greene 'Seek What You'll Find Tour'
Paul Greene is again proving his reputation as 'one of the countries most consistent songwriters' (Sounds of Oz) with the 2nd Single from his highly acclaimed 7th album 'Behind The Stars' and backing it up with his Australian east coast 'Seek What You'll Find Tour'.
'Seek What You'll Find' is a strong follow up to the catchy first single, 'Crossfire' which captured the attention of media and radio alike, being added to many commercial stations as well as support from JJJ, Album of the Week on ABC DIG Radio, and Radio Australia. The Australian described the new single 'Seek What You'll Find' as having 'almost an anthemic feel'.
The single, remixed by Craig Porteils (Potbelleez, Shannon Noll, Short Stack) and video clip will be released mid July. To celebrate, a free bonus download from iTunes of Greene’s breathtaking re-invention of the Australian classic, Khe Sanh like you have never heard it before, recorded live in the ABC studios.
Interestingly the 'Seek What You’ll Find Tour' comes straight off the back of a 3-week run of shows in China. Greene was approached by an establishment in Yanti, in the Shandong Provence in the North East of the country, after a 'fan' working in the area, introduced locals to Greene's music.
Greene has been described as 'a quiet achiever of the Australian music scene', but critics have singled him out for his incredible voice, his songwriting, ability and consistency (there are no skip to the next track bits on a Paul Greene album). His love for his art of songwriting, and his willingness to get out there and take his music to rural Australia as well as earning a huge fan base in metropolitan Australia has seen Paul Greene & The Other Colours a favourite amongst live music fans and appreciators of genuine talent.
What the critics have said about Paul Greene's latest album: ‘Behind The Stars’.
'Paul Greene is a runner and a musical craftsman - two things that already make him, for reasons that go beyond the fact of simply putting the assertion here, a dead-set champion. That his running has been at the highest level (Atlanta Olympics, no less) and his songwriting is of a similarly stellar quality means this quiet achiever of the Australian live music circuit has a remarkably special spark about him.’ - Stephen Fitzpatrick, The Australian.
‘One of Australia’s most consistent singer-songwriters… it’s one of those albums that makes you want to press play again the moment that the final track ends.’ - www.soundsofoz.com
‘If you like your Aussie pub rock with an bluesy acoustic bent, this might grab you by the goolies.’ - Rabbit Hole Urban Music (RHUM)
‘This is an easy listening, but enjoyable, assortment of goodies and will find a place easily within this genre. A mature, somewhat routine assemblage of tunes, which will have you listening more than once, something to help get you through the cold of winter.’ - www.fasterlouder.com.au
