triple j's Matt & Alex release a 'Best Of' Album

Oh goodness, triple j have done it. They’ve immortalised the Brekkie Boiz into album form for all of eternity.

A compilation of all the best bits from triple j Breakfast, savour all the stupidity, tunas and the boys’ embarrassing attempts at putting out a music banger with Matt & Alex Play It Out.

Released Friday August 19th, the double album features odes to resident album reviewer Ian Dyson (a.k.a. Alex’s dad), Matt accidentally stalking Justine from Masterchef and of course, their personal god Darude.

“It’s been a wild few years. Tunas have been served, alpacas traded, and boys packed up... The majority of this album and fun times we’ve had at this off-cob radio station are due to you sharing our passion for music, frivolity, and most importantly - immaturity; and we are truly privileged to share these times by your side”, Matt & Alex.

Catch Matt & Alex 6-9am weekdays on triple j.
