Justine Clarke Wins ARIA Award for Best Children's Album

Justine Clarke has won the award for Best Children’s Album at the 2018 ARIA Awards, held at The Star on Wednesday, November 28. The award is for her album The Justine Clarke Show, released through ABC Music.

ABC Music is thrilled to see Justine Clarke receive this accolade. Clarke is an intuitive and successful producer of children’s content, whose accomplishments include platinum and gold-selling albums and DVD’s, children’s books and sold-out national tours.

The win is a great achievement for Justine, who was nominated alongside other top children’s acts, The Wiggles (ABC Music), Teeny Tiny Stevies (ABC Music), Lah-Lah and Sam Moran. It is Justine’s second ARIA win for Best Children’s Album, having also claimed the title in 2013 for A Little Day Out with Justine Clarke.

Clarke thanked her young audience in her acceptance speech: “To the children of Australia, who dance and sing along to my music, you are my total inspiration”.

Natalie Waller, Head of ABC Music, said“We are extremely excited about Justine Clarke’s ARIA win. Justine and her team work tirelessly and this award is very well deserved.”

Congratulations goes out to all ARIA Award winners as well as all the exceptional finalists on the night.

ABC Music artists received 10 nominations across 7 categories at the 2018 ARIA Awards. This is in addition to the previously-announced winners of Best Classical Album (Slava Grigoryan - Bach Cello Suites Colume II) and Best Comedy Release (Bridie & Wyatt, Tonightly with Tom Ballard - Sex Pest), which were presented at the 2018 ARIA Artisan, Fine Arts and Best Comedy ceremony. Justine Clarke’s win makes a total of 111 ARIA Awards for ABC Music artists since the awards began in 1987.
