On March 18th, ABC Music will release the self-titled debut album by the sublimely talented Australian folk-rock artist William Crighton.  A son of the Riverina in southwestern NSW, William Crighton is a story teller with a sound that is bold, visceral and unique.

An exciting new signing to ABC Music, the pictures he paints through the depth of his lyrics demonstrate an artist that is romantic, spiritual and deeply moving.

‘Priest’, the first single from the album, touches on a heavy and highly relevant subject, set to a tune that draws you into a vivid tale. The single, along with the album was produced and mixed by Matt Sherrod (previously working with Crowded House and Beck) plus, features backing vocals from William’s wife Julieanne and his brother Luke on bass.

“Authenticity is the element that defines the darkly beautiful and wrenching debut record of William Crighton”
- Nick Milligan

“I believe music is an essential part of our current experience and I am truly grateful to be able to share mine with you.” - William Crighton.

William Crighton will back up his debut album with an extensive tour, incorporating festival dates in April and continuing throughout the rest of 2016.
