Adam Brand's new album 'My Acoustic Diary' – out November 8

Adam Brand is thrilled to unveil the artwork and tracklisting for his forthcoming ‘My Acoustic Diary’ album, to be released on November 8, 2013 through ABC Music/ Universal Music Australia.

A retrospective collection of thirteen carefully selected songs, ‘My Acoustic Diary’ spans Brand’s career as a recording artist from 1998 through to the present. Adam explains the decision to return to the studio and re-record the hand-picked songs acoustically – “I have decided to re-record some of these diary entries acoustically, the way they were first written…  I’ve chosen songs that represent pivotal points in my life, and my growth as a songwriter and as an artist trying to find my own voice.”

In addition to the thirteen newly recorded Adam Brand favorites, ‘My Acoustic Diary’ features two brand new tracks. Lead single ‘Freedom Rebels’ is a song penned for “anyone who’s ever been told you’re not enough… that you don’t know what you’re doing or you’ll never make it”.  ‘Gone Fishin’ is the second new track to be included on the album.

Adam Brand is one of Australia’s most successful recording artists, with a sales history of over half a million albums and DVDs.

Over the course of his career, Adam Brand has earned three Platinum and five Gold albums and his most recent album, 2012’s ‘There Will Be Love’, scored a #4 debut on the ARIA Mainstream Album Chart.  He has been nominated four times for the ARIA Best Country Album award and is the winner of 12 Golden Guitar Awards at the Country Music Awards of Australia, including multiple wins in the Song of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year categories.

Adam Brand has also cemented his place as Australian Country’s most successful publicly voted awards artist - being voted CMC Oz Artist of the Year a massive five times (2007 – 2011) by Australian music fans.
