Dead Letter Chorus

The size, scope and weight of the universe is a concept that has kept all manner of astronomers, physicists and artists chinstroking whilst spurting a many and varied array of hypothesis for quite some time now - since the dawn of it in fact.

And whilst each take on this continually pressing question has caused the initial enquiry to explode to new proportions we know only one thing - it is big, we are small and, that, well, that is all.

Heavy stuff. It is this selfsame heavy stuff that too often bogs everyday people like us in to familiar and ongoing existential crisises - thankfully, Dead Letter Chorus not only empathises with the weight of the world on your shoulders but they have the following sound advice: ‘Run, Wild’.

The first Dead Letter Chorus track to be penned as an ensemble, ‘Run, Wild’ is a jaunty, sweet springtime fling replete with jungle drums, tickling melodies, foot-tapping charm, and an eight-piece choir featuring the pipes of Alyx from Kyu, Jonothan Boulet and Fergus Brown to name a few.

With Les Cooper (Jill Barber, The Good Lovelies) lovingly at the production helm and with added sparkle provided by Darryl Nuedorf's (The New Pornographers, Neko Case) mixing and mastering expertise. Following the epic opening single ‘Covered By Snow’, ‘Run, Wild’ is the new single taken from the band’s forthcoming sophomore album ‘Run, Wild’ - a thrilling hint at just some of the treats Dead Letter Chorus have in store.
