Emily Wurramara - 'Cruisin'
'Cruisin' is a sweet Summer single from ARIA-award nominated Australian artist Emily Wurramara.
ABC Kids favourites Teeny Tiny Stevies recently shared their new song ‘Stay Home’, which was written to help explain to little ones what’s going on right now.
You told us you liked the song, so now we want to see YOUR rendition from home!
You can find the lyrics below, and for those of you who are even more musically-inclined, we’ve included the chords too.
Please play and sing along as a family, film yourselves and send in your videos, and we’ll edit them together to make our very own supergroup.
Together we can make a heartfelt keepsake of these strange times (or at the very least it’s something to do with your kids on the weekend!).
Nominate your family’s ‘band leader’, and make sure they have the original version of the song playing in headphones on one device (to help make sure we are all playing in time with each other), and film your family’s performance on another device.
A couple helpful notes!
Submissions are open now and close at 6pm (AEDT) on Wednesday May 6th.

Teeny tiny Stevies – Stay Home
Lyrics + chords
VERSE 1
F C
There's a sickness going round
F C
You've probably heard them talkin' bout
F C
They way it can pass to your friends
F C
When you stand too close to them
F C
You can share it through your hands
F C
But this time sharing's not the plan
F C
So keep your hands to yourself
F C
And you could save somebody else
CHORUS
F G
We've gotta stay in when we want to go out
C F
We've got to trust when we start to feel doubt
G
Wash our hands again when we just want to sit down
C F
If you need to cry, let it all out
D
Cause when you're enemy's invisible
F
And no body's invincible
D
You're a bit of a hero
F G
If you talk on the phone and, Stay home
VERSE 2
F C
You must be sick of being told
F C
To wash your hands and blow your nose
F C
And cough into your elbow
F C
Boring stuff that we all know
F C
But right now that's our best defence
F C
Our barricade while a cure's in progress
F C
So when you do these little things
F C
You're actually making a big difference
CHORUS
F G
We've gotta stay in when we want to go out
C F
We've got to trust when we start to feel doubt
G
Wash our hands again when we just want to sit down
C F
If you need to cry, let it all out
D
Cause when you're enemy's invisible
F
And no body's invincible
D
You're a bit of a hero
F G
If you talk on the phone and, Stay home
VERSE 3
F C
Things are gonna get quite boring
F C
It won't be long till your sick of drawing
F C
Even movies and screen time
F C
Are gonna make you roll your eyes
F C
Know mum and dad are doing their best
F C
Even though they might seem stressed
F C
They're making the best possible space
F C
Somewhere they can keep you safe
CHORUS
F G
We've gotta stay in when we want to go out
C F
We've got to trust when we start to feel doubt
G
Wash our hands again when we just want to sit down
C F
If you need to cry, let it all out
D
Cause when you're enemy's invisible
F
And no body's invincible
D
You're a bit of a hero
F G
If you talk on the phone and, Stay home
